Sasha Vujacic’s 20-point effort off the bench spark the Lakers to a win over the Boston Celtics in game 3 of the NBA Finals. Dubbed, “The Machine” for his repetitive shot-making abilities during practice, Sasha Vujacic nailed a key basket from behind the arc to keep the Celtics at bay. Kobe Bryant started the play and drew a double team near the half-court mark.

A few passes later and it was Sasha Vujacic wide open in the corner. And just like the hundreds, if not thousands of practice shots, The Machine nailed the trey from the corner as the Staples Center crowd erupted.

Sasha Vujacic, 6′7″ is playing his 3rd season in the NBA and hails from Slovenia. The final score of game 3 was 87-81 Lakers. The Boston Celtics lead the series 2 games to 1.
