It must be stressful to be Maung Thura aka Zarganar, a comedian critic, who was recently detained possibly for political reasons. Wow. That really sucks. If I was caught in a situation like that, I’d be searching for a stress eraser of sorts like my squish ball stress toy. I prefer using basic stress reducing techniques instead of popping pills.

Exercise is a very good “stress eraser”. According to experts, exercise can help release the built-up tension in your body and help your muscles loosen up. Aside from loosening up your tense muscles and acting as stress reducer, exercise releases endorphins which are known as “happy hormones.” Endorphins promote the feeling of well-being and help relieves you emotional stress and make you feel happier. With regular exercise, you can beat stress and live a healthier life. Stuff like Yoga exercises can help too since you focus a lot. Meditation is also a solid stress eraser.

Believe it or not, even martial arts like karate can help as a stress reducer. If you have no time to do yoga or karate, you can always walk. When it comes to stress reducer exercises, walking is one of the best. Walking will improve your blood circulation and help you feel better. What is more interesting about this type of exercise is that you can do it every where and anytime you want to. If things get quite difficult and complicated in the office, you just step outside of the office building and start walking to clear your head.

Going back to meditation, it is really one of the best stress eraser or reliever one can do easily. By simply controlling and regulating your breathing can actually help you deal with stress. Not only do breathing exercises help relieve stress but they also have other benefits for our bodies such as exercising our lung capacity and oxygenating our blood. These kinds of stress erasers are convenient because they can be done almost anywhere and you do not need anything else.

Adding meditation to deep breathing exercises helps you manage and control your stress. These are great stress erasers because they act quickly and can help to soothe your troubled mind and make things clearer.

Moving on though, I think the most popular stress reliever for most people is music. Some people use music as stress erasers while other people can not stand any noise when they try to reduce their stress. For those who feel soothed by listening to the right kind of music, this is one of the better stress erasers because it can actually change the way you feel by lowering your blood pressure, relaxing your muscles and soothing your mind.

Whichever of the stress erasers you choose make sure that it suits you and that it can really make you calmer and more rational. It is important to have stress relievers to be able to cope with daily stress. Personally, I talk a walk with my music while squeezing my stress toy. I hope that Maung Thura can find a way to ease his mind and erase some of the stress he’s experiencing right now.
