They’re finally releasing the John Adams DVD set. There are a lot of folks who don’t get HBO, so this is a welcome treat for those who wanted to watch it, but missed the mini-series when it first aired. The show is obviously about John Adams, who is the second president of the United States.

The John Adams DVD set will be released today, and sell for US$59.99. The bonus features includes a documentary on David McCullough, a historian who won a Pulitzer prize for his work on John Adams. It’s McCullough’s book that HBO used to base the show. The series stars Laura Linney and Paul Giamatti.
